 PLAQUE PROJECT
WAANYARRA HISTORIC CEMETERY

One of the most rewarding projects undertaken by the Families and Friends of Waanyarra Inc. has been the recovery of burial information for the cemetery.
This has been achieved by many people who have researched the records tirelessly to identify the
burial details for 129 people buried at Waanyarra for whom there are no gravemarkers of any kind.
The names and death details of these people are carried on three rock mounted bronze plaques, the design, manufacture and installation of which has been done by FAFOW.
